Composition: 100% Viognier

Taking a departure from Viognier styles of previous vintages, our Viognier was fermented with 20% neutral oak to accentuate the natural fuller body and oiliness this wine exhibits. Pale yellow in color with aromas of white peach and lime zest bring a freshness to this wine more commonly seen in vineyards in cooler climates. On the palate, the rich, almost creamy mouthfeel with citrus, mango and floral notes, would satisfy the most ardent of chardonnay lovers while not being oaky or buttery. If you love un-oaked chardonnay-this is the Texas white wine for you! Try it with some rotisserie chicken and your favorite sides-yum yum.
